What is the meaning of Christmas?

It's actually very simple. None of us can be perfect, and we struggle with pain and suffering because of our mistakes. In order to enter heaven and live with God in His kingdom forever we must have some type of perfect sacrifice or way to pay for our sins. God loved us so much that he decided He was willing to pay for them with his own blood. So, He came to earth in the form of a baby, Jesus, to grow into a man, experiencing life with the same problems we do. But, because He is God, he lived a perfect life, and allowed Himself to be sacrificed in order to pay with his life for us.

In order to receive this forgiveness of your sins, all you have to do is look to God, confess that you know you are a sinner, and that you recognize that he died for your sins, even though He was perfect and did not have to. God will then give you the blessing of the Holy Spirit, which will fill your soul and open communications with Him. From this point forward you will be His, and receive His joy and blessings.

I hope if you have given your heart to God, accepting the sacrifice that Jesus made for you, you will begin to read the Bible - start in the book of John in the New Testament - and find a Bible teaching Christian church. That is where you will learn how God will work in your life to make you whole.
